It can take years for signs of a roof leak to show up on the interior of a building. Roof leaks don t typicallly show up overnight. Water stains appearing on the ceiling or mold growing on rafters are sure signs the leak didn t just appear. Check for signs of roof leaks.

Factors like wind direction and rain intensity vary. If you have a leak a temporary cover should be placed immediately. When you locate a leak especially one over an industrial style floor use tape or another method to mark the spot directly underneath it.
