Davit systems are the premiere façade access equipment. They provide support and stability to roof rigged or ground rigged suspension platforms over the edge of the building s façade which allows workers to perform cleaning repair and maintenance operations on the building safely. A davit base which is permanently installed to building structure. Dvt trg x xx is a low profile suspension point for ground rigged platforms or rds dvt trr x xx is a high profile taller suspension point for roof launched platforms.

Roof davit systems support equipment suspended from a building s roof or edge such as platforms used for window washing or other façade operations. Roof davit systems consist of steel sockets that anchor aluminum masts and arms i e davits. Davits are typically used to mount a motorized platform and contain two primary components a base and an arm. In a roof rigged scenario the mast on the davit arm is tall enough to allow it to pick the platform up from ground level and hoist it onto the roof.

The stage is then relocated on the roof level to align with each drop location. Available in both ground and roof rigged varieties they are used to support suspension equipment over the edge of the building façade.
